Working Principle

Suction check valve (also known as marine foot valve) is installed at the submerged end of pump suction pipeline.

When pump starts: Negative pressure opens disc, medium flows into pipeline.

When pump stops: Gravity & back‑pressure close the disc automatically, keeps suction line fully primed, avoids pump dry‑running and repeated manual priming. Optional built‑in filter mesh large debris to protect pump impeller.

Installation: Mount vertically at suction pipe end, fully submerged. Follow flow marking on valve body.

Maintenance: Regularly inspect & clean strainer screen to avoid blockage. Check sealing performance periodically.

Storage: Store in dry indoor environment, seal both ends to prevent dust entering cavity.
