Overview
Core Features:
• Corrosion resistant material: The body is typically made of 316/316L stainless steel (CF8M) or 304 stainless steel. 316L, which contains molybdenum, offers superior corrosion resistance in salt‑water and chemical‑laden marine environments.
• Efficient Y‑shaped design: The “Y” configuration provides a streamlined flow path with low flow resistance and minimal pressure loss, ensuring rapid throughput. At the same time, the structure allows for high dirt‑holding capacity and efficient filtration.
• Robust strainer element: A double‑layer stainless steel mesh is used, which is strong and durable. Filtration accuracy (mesh size) can be customised according to the medium:
- Water: typically 18–30 mesh.
- Gas: typically 40–100 mesh.
- Oil: higher requirements, up to 100–480 mesh.
• Easy maintenance: The strainer element can be easily removed from the bonnet for cleaning or replacement without dismantling the entire pipeline. Some models are also equipped with a drain plug for convenient blowdown.
