High-viscosity fluids (such as heavy oil or syrup) will cause a significant pressure drop when passing through a strainer; therefore, a strainer with a larger flow orifice must be selected, and it may be necessary to install an insulation or heat tracing system.

Internal Structure and Features:

1. The main components include the filter basket, housing, and inlet and outlet pipes;

2. The filter basket is made of stainless steel mesh or a wedge wire mesh structure and is designed to trap particulate impurities in the water;

3. The housing is typically made of carbon steel or stainless steel and is pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant;
