JIS 5K Lift Check Globe Valves
Our JIS 5K bronze lift check globe valve is manufactured to Japanese Industrial Standards with a high-quality bronze body and trim, featuring a lift-type disc design that moves vertically along the valve centerline for reliable bubble-tight sealing and automatic backflow prevention in corrosive fluid systems. Unlike swing check valves, this lift-type design provides superior sealing performance with the disc guided precisely onto the seat, making it ideal for applications where tight shut-off and minimal leakage are critical in seawater and mildly corrosive environments.
Overview
Application:Widely installed on ships, offshore platforms and marine vessels in seawater systems, cooling water circuits, boiler feed lines and condensate systems where tight sealing and reliable backflow prevention are required and corrosion resistance is essential for long service life. Also commonly used in coastal facilities, desalination plants, chemical processing and Japanese-standard marine engineering projects throughout Southeast Asia, particularly for low-pressure horizontal pipeline applications where superior sealing performance is preferred over the lower flow resistance of swing-type check valves.
