JIS 5K Globe Screw-Down Check Valves

Our JIS 5K bronze globe screw-down check valve combines manual shut-off/throttling capability with automatic backflow prevention in a single bronze body, manufactured to Japanese Industrial Standards for reliable performance in seawater and corrosive environments. Featuring a precision-machined bronze disc and seat with a screw-down stem mechanism, this dual-function valve provides both positive flow control when operated manually and dependable non-return protection when left in the open position, eliminating the need for separate stop and check valves.

Overview

Application: Widely installed on ships, offshore platforms and marine vessels in seawater systems, cooling water circuits, fuel oil lines and ballast water systems where both flow regulation and backflow prevention are required at the same pipeline location. Also commonly used in coastal facilities, desalination plants and Japanese-standard marine engineering projects throughout Southeast Asia, where space is limited and installing separate stop and check valves would be impractical or cost-prohibitive.
