JIS 16K Globe Valves
Our JIS 16K bronze globe valve is engineered to Japanese Industrial Standards with a reinforced bronze body and thicker wall construction, designed to handle significantly higher operating pressures up to 1.6MPa while maintaining superior corrosion resistance in seawater and corrosive environments. Featuring a robust bonnet design, precision-machined disc and seat, and heavy-duty flanged connections with more bolt holes than 5K class valves, this valve delivers reliable high-pressure sealing and long service life in demanding medium-pressure fluid control applications.
Overview
Application: Primarily specified for medium-high pressure seawater systems, high-pressure fuel oil lines, hydraulic circuits and pump discharge applications on ships, offshore platforms and marine vessels where 5K class valves are insufficient for system pressure requirements. Also widely used in coastal industrial facilities, desalination plants and chemical processing systems operating at elevated pressures, particularly in Japanese-standard engineering projects throughout Southeast Asia requiring durable, corrosion-resistant valves capable of withstanding sustained higher operating pressures.
