JIS 16K Angle Valves
Our JIS 16K bronze angle valve is engineered to Japanese Industrial Standards with a heavy-duty bronze body and reinforced bonnet design, featuring a 90-degree angle configuration that provides reliable shut-off performance at operating pressures up to 1.6MPa while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and corrosive environments. Built with thicker wall construction, larger flanges with more bolt holes, and a precision-machined bronze disc and seat compared to 5K class valves, this robust bronze angle valve delivers dependable high-pressure sealing and exceptional durability at demanding pipeline corner locations.
Overview
Application: Primarily specified for high-pressure 90-degree pipeline intersections on ships, offshore platforms and coastal industrial facilities for seawater systems, high-pressure hydraulic circuits, pump discharge lines and corrosive fluid applications where 5K class bronze angle valves cannot meet system pressure requirements. Also widely used in desalination plants, coastal power facilities and Japanese-standard marine engineering projects throughout Southeast Asia requiring heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant angle valves capable of withstanding sustained higher operating pressures at piping corners.
