JIS 10K Gate Valves
Our JIS 10K bronze gate valve is engineered to Japanese Industrial Standards with a reinforced bronze body and bonnet, featuring a wedge-shaped gate and full-bore construction that delivers reliable bubble-tight shut-off and minimal pressure drop at operating pressures up to 1.0MPa while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and mildly corrosive environments. Built with thicker wall construction, larger flanges with more bolt holes, and a robust bronze stem mechanism compared to 5K class valves, this medium-pressure bronze gate valve strikes an optimal balance between pressure capability and cost-effectiveness for general industrial and marine applications.
Overview
Application: Widely specified for medium-pressure seawater systems, general industrial process piping, cooling water circuits, fire protection systems and pump discharge applications where 5K class bronze gate valves are insufficient for system pressure requirements but 16K heavy-duty valves would be unnecessarily oversized. Also commonly used in coastal facilities, desalination plants, offshore platforms and Japanese-standard industrial projects throughout Southeast Asia, particularly for main pipeline isolation requiring both reliable corrosion resistance and moderate pressure containment in a cost-effective package.
