TYPE A: Straight-through external screwed bronze draw-off cock.
TYPE B: Right-angle external screwed lockable bronze draw-off cock.

4. MATERIALS OF MAIN PARTS
The body and plug core materials are cast tin bronze: ZQSn5-5-5, standard CB 883-83.
5. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Technical requirements shall comply with GB 600.
Threaded connection dimensions:
PN ≤ 1.6 MPa: Comply with CB* 821.
PN > 1.6 MPa: Comply with CB* 56.
Body wall thickness shall comply with ZB/T U52 001.
5.2 TEST METHODS
Test methods shall comply with GB 600. Test results shall be documented in a test report.
5.3 INSPECTION RULES
Sampling: 3% of the batch (minimum 3 pieces) shall be sampled for inspection.
Inspection Items (TABLE 4):
Mechanical properties and chemical composition of castings (Clause 3.5.2)
Visual inspection (GB 600)
Body strength test (GB 600)
Sealing test (GB 600)
Judgement Rules:
If physical/chemical properties fail, the whole batch is rejected.
If strength/sealing test fails, double sampling is required. If it still fails, the whole batch is rejected.
If sealing test fails, repair and re-test is allowed.
Each cock must pass factory inspection before delivery.
6. DESIGNATION AND MARKING
6.1 DESIGNATION EXAMPLES:
TYPE A: Nominal pressure 2.5 MPa, nominal diameter 15 mm, external screwed straight-through bronze draw-off cock: Cock A15 GB/T 599-1996
TYPE B: Nominal pressure 0.1 MPa, nominal diameter 15 mm, external screwed right-angle lockable bronze draw-off cock: Cock B15 GB/T 599-1996
6.2 MARKING AND PACKAGING:
Marking shall comply with GB 3032.
Packaging shall comply with GB 600.
