Overview
1. SUBJECT CONTENT AND APPLICATION SCOPE
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and packaging of quick shutting valves for marine use (hereinafter referred to as "quick shutting valves") with flange connection dimensions per GB 569 and GB 2501.
This standard applies to quick shutting valves used in ship piping systems with fuel oil and other oil products as the medium.

3. PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION
3.1 TYPES
The types of quick shutting valves are specified as follows:
AS TYPE - Straight-through manual quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 569.
AQ TYPE - Straight-through pneumatic quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 569.
ASS TYPE - Straight-through manual quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 2501.
AQS TYPE - Straight-through pneumatic quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 2501.
BS TYPE - Right-angle manual quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 569.
BQ TYPE - Right-angle pneumatic quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 569.
BSS TYPE - Right-angle manual quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 2501.
BQS TYPE - Right-angle pneumatic quick shutting valve with flange connection dimensions per GB 2501.
3.2 BASIC PARAMETERS
The basic parameters of quick shutting valves are specified in Table 1.
