DIN 86259: This is the core standard for flanged gate valves, extra light duty for shipboard use. It specifies valves with nominal diameters from DN 32 to DN 125 and a nominal pressure of PN 10. These are specifically intended for light and fast ships.
DIN 85003-6: This standard outlines the technical specifications for hand-operated gate valves used in shipbuilding, detailing the required tests and quality assurance measures.
